Hello, my name is Dan Smith.

I’m an independent visual artist and filmmaker from Durham, North Carolina, whose work focuses on creating people-positive visual art with the human figure. 

My work is a little different than most nude photographers in that the images are a result of direct collaborative input from the person in front of the camera, making each and every photograph a work by two artists in front of and behind the camera.
